Fully booked for Banbury Canal Day

EVERY mooring has been booked for the forthcoming Banbury Canal Day on the Oxford Canal.

There will be live music, stories and theatre with both sides of the waterway filled with stalls and attractions on Sunday, 7th October, Alan Tilbury tells us.

Busiest

A spokesman for the organisers, Banbury Town Council, believe it could be the busiest Canal Day since the event started in 2003.

There will be a European Market and a Hook Norton Brewery beer tent, as well as a folk concert held in the garden of General Foods Social Club.

Tooley's Boatyard will be transformed into a theatre hosting plays, storytelling music and movies on the 5th and 6th of October.
