Music festival success

THE music festival Folk on the Water that was staged over ten days helped to raise nearly £3,000 for injured soldiers and a babies' hospice.

The festival was comprised of musicians on a narrowboat cruising part of the Warwickshire Ring, giving concerts at various waterside venues, as reported in narrowboatworld.

Charities

The money was raised for the charities Fallen Fusiliers and Zoe's Place, which has recently opened a babies' hospice in Exhall, near Coventry.
