Predicted the decline

I HAVE often read (in amazement, horror and amusement) your very informative web site, writes Mike Daine.

I am now definitely retired.  I sold my boat a few years ago.  I often have pangs of regret and wonder if I should build one last boat and retrace/ recruise 'the system'.

Made the right choice

'The cure' I've found is to read your latest articles and I know I made the right choice.  Sadly a lot of us 'old boaters' were able to predict the decline of the waterways, many years ago.

I've added a cartoon I did for some boating friends.  I will continue to read you articles and thank you for all your efforts.  I will find some way to be useful in my retirement but I will not ever, volunteer.
