Email: Keep your eyes open

There is one point that, so far, no one has mentioned. Keep your ruddy eyes open and from time to time look at the roof line. The low sections are clearly marked white and can easily be seen.

Once again there are calls for more requirements and probably restrictions, ignoring the fact that a great many boaters travel through Harecastle without problem on a daily basis (in the summer).

Point out to prospective 'tunnellers' that their safety depends on themselves. They shouldn't need to be mollycoddled.
