Email: Value to the system

Published: Wednesday, 02 January 2013

There is a value to the system from regular users, mostly making sure things work, and are reported if they don't.

There is an ambition amongst boat owners, mostly old buggers like me, to have a few years cruising the system. Marina moorings are expensive, their costs increased by CaRT charges (for what?) that pay their salaries and index linked pensions.

For Christ's sake why can't these stupid buggers in CaRT come up with a workable option?

Their first priority, as always, is their own salary and job, their second is maintaining the supply of Jaffa Cakes to the office and their third is to thinking about if there's enough water in the canal.
