Another boater drowns

IT WAS boater Peter Williamson walking to the local pub, Nightly Arms, who saw the police at a narrowboat at Yelvertoft on the summit pound of the Leicester Section of the Grand Union Canal.
It transpired that neighbouring boaters had been worried that dogs had been locked inside a narrowboat for a couple of days, and no one had seen the man Chris, who lived on the boat.
It was during last week-end that the police were called, and the boater's body was found in the canal, it at present being assumed that he fell in.
