Huddersfield Narrow closed again

ONCE again the Huddersfield Narrow Canal is closed.

This time it is due to a 'ground paddle fault' on 23W Keith Gudgin reports.

But it is the local team that is sorting it out, so won't likely be the usual five days job as with contractors.

The constant failures, yet with such a limited usage with only six boats allowed through its tunnel in a week, must surely point to a complete lack of maintenance.
