THE boaters at Willow Wren Wharf at Bull's Bridge were disturbed on Saturday morning by the police knocking on their boats as a body had been discovered in the waterway.
This is on the Grand Union where it meets the Paddington Arm, but to date there is no further information, Stuart Field tells us.
Gone missing
Further along the waterway at Haynes, 60 years old Bronwyn Davis has been missing since New Year's Day, it is understood without a mobile phone or money, leaving a half full cup of coffee in a microwave, Alan Tilbury tells us.
She was last seen on CCTV walking along the Grand Union towpath carrying a Tesco bag, with the police searching the waterway by boat and the towpath on horseback.
Her family is greatly concerned especially as she has type 1 diabetes and does not have her medication.
Another body
The body of a man was found in the Medway at Cuxton Marina on Saturday afternoon, unofficially believed to be that of Pat Lamb.
He went missing on the 12th of December after walking along the river bank, with his last known movements being in the Bar Chocolate most of the evening,
