I have to agree with James Harvey, what is wrong with these ecologists?

The Devil shrimp should be welcomed with open arms, along with all the other alien species. Surely we could soon solve any problem it causes perhaps by introducing the Cane Toad to our water ways, it worked really well in the antipodes.

I for one look forward to the day when our canals are just a corridor of Himalayan Balsam, wouldn't that be great. Unfortunately by then they would also be dry due to the locks all being destroyed by Japanese Knotweed but that's apparently evolution for you.

These ecologists know nothing—just ignore them and everything will be fine....
