Totally agree with you [concerning the Ashby Canal]. I think it is worth organising a petition to get these people back on track, that canals were built for boats and should stay that way.

We are, are we not, the largest contributors to the pot. I think that Canal & River Trust have forgotten this as well. There are far too many sites protecting nature and should be brought into line, enough is enough.
