Better shopping in Lincoln

BOATERS will have better shopping facilities on the Fossdyke in Lincoln in future, as the Waterside Shopping Centre is being revamped.

Work starts this month on the major redevelopment that will not however  be partly completed until in time for Christmas shopping, Alan Tilbury tells us.

Shopping chains

This new refurbishment has already seen large shopping chains having booked space, with many enlarging their stores with the development giving more space, though some will not open until late 2014.

The cost is estimated at £9 million.
