The result of the poll

BOATERS were concerned at a sweeping statement by British Waterways Chief Executive Robin Evans to the House of Lords, so we decided to run a poll for a few days to ascertain their views.

The result of the poll that simply asked if his statement was believed or not is shown below.

 

 

 

 

 

Purpose of the poll was not to define if people thought the canals and waterways were a treasured asset, but to ascertain if they believed his statement that 98% of people believed they were.
