Shakespeare at Ellesmere Port

BUDDING young actors from the Ellesmere Port area have a chance to audition at National Waterways Museum for a performance which will see them working with the Royal Shakespeare Company.

The prestigious company will be helping the National Waterways Museum's young theatre group, the Boaty Youth Theatre, stage an adaptation of The Tempest in July.

Auditions

Auditions, open to all aged between 12 and 25, are taking place at the Ellesmere Port Museum on Tuesday 29th May between 5pm and 8pm.

The young people will then work on their own version of the Shakespeare play, to be called A Storm In A Teacup, and will work with the Royal Shakespeare Company on 20th July, before the public performances on 24th July.
