Wyrley & Essington repair could take a long time

THE repair work to the collapsed culvert of the Wyrley & Essington Canal could take a long time as Severn Trent have accepted ownership.

This means that the company will have to undertake the repair of the culvert and it is not known for its quick response to repairs, especially as this one does not effect its water supply, Keith Gudgin tells us.
