Email: Not fair

Raining or not, Patrick Fellows is wrong to just leave his hire boat on the Grand Union Canal at Milton Keynes (Email: Had enough) expecting the hire company to fetch it back.

The company should bill him for the cost of sending someone out to return it, wherever he has hired it from.  Surely we all know the English weather—it rains on Bank Holidays, and out on a boat you will be in the rain and therefore should be prepared.

I realise this year is particularly bad, and I feel for the new hirers who are boating for the first time, but as a boater for many years, there are more good days than bad, this year is a bit unlucky.
