Email: Had enough

We are stuck in the rain on the Grand Union Canal in Milton Keynes, and after a day of it yesterday have given up, put the wife on a taxi to the train station to get back to the hire place for the car.

This is our second attempt at boating and though it appeals to me, it doesn't any longer as last time it rained most of the time when we were on the Llangollen Canal.

It is a great pity, as we enjoyed the few days last time when the sun came out, but as the forecast is the same for the rest of the week, I'm going to be a wimp, but a dry wimp, and when the wife comes back with the car we are going home, and the hire company can do what it likes.

The big problem is our weather is getting worse.
