L&L claims another victim

ANOTHER man, over twice the legal driving limit has ended his life in the Leeds & Liverpool Canal at Blackburn.

Gary Forkasiewicz had been celebrating what is regarded as 'Mad Friday', the last working day for many before Christmas, drinking at the Butlers Arms then going off to the Station House before it is believed heading home along the canal towpath.

Drowned

It is assumed he either slipped or staggered, but landed in the Leeds & Liverpool Canal, was unable to climb out and so drowned.

His body was discovered the following morning by Feniscow Bridge, by a dog walker who noticed some of his clothing in the water.
