Boxes for guide books

IN REPLY to David Hymers bit about boxes for his guide book here is a solution, writes Keith Gudgin.

Where he states,"I don't think anyone has yet come up with a fully waterproof solution." He could try the boxes that are called 'Really Useful Boxes' from various outlets such as Ryman's stationers etc.

Totally rain proof

They are totally rain proof (wouldn't stand a full immersion though) when the lid is on and have clips to hold the lid in place. The box shown holds a Nicholson's when open and is defined as a 4 litre size.

It will also hold an A4 sheet flat as well. You can see the chart/book etc. through the lid. Cost a bit more than a pound though I think it cost me the huge sum of £4.50.
