Man blames chest pains for killing

A MAN accused of shooting dead his two parents after driving them into a canal has blamed chest pains for the incident, but it has been discovered he had no history of heart problems.

Stephen Seddon drove his parents into the Bridgewater Canal in a hired car, giving the reason he had blacked out through chest pains, he told at Manchester Crown Court, Alan Tilbury reveals.

No trace

He suggested he had hit a brick on the road, though no trace of a brick could be found. There was no evidence that the brakes had been applied,

A week later his parents were found dead, having been shot. He faces two counts of murder and two counts of attempted murder, and the case is proceeding.
