Boater drowns after falling

A BOATER drowned after he fell off his narrowboat whilst moored on the Witham in Boston, Alan Tilbury reports.

The 25 years old man fell from his boat at Witham West Bank on Sunday morning, situated near Boston Motor Yacht Club, but has not yet been officially identified.

Underwater team

It was an underwater search team that recovered his body from the waterway, at around 9am on Sunday morning. .

There is to be a post-mortem examination of the incident.
