Enough is enough

MOST boaters will agree that there has been enough comments about continuous cruisers/moorers in narrowboatworld, so we are calling a halt.

The subject has been exceptionally well aired, and all sides have been allowed their say, but it has generated into little more than a slanging match, that we will not tolerate.

Only reference

The only references to either continuous cruisers or continuous moorers will be 'official' ones relating to any alteration in the rules governing them from Canal & River Trust or boating associations.

Any other reference will not be published.

So the last word—Though narrowboatworld has often been accused of being 'anti' continuous cruisers, this is not so, as many of our contributors are such.  It is the continuous moorer, that we, as do many others, object to.

Forum

The Forum has also been removed from the site, as this is very much of secondary importance, and there has been too many of those short rejoinders having to be removed that have nothing to do with the subject being aired, but silly comments, that are so prevalent in forums.

People of course can use the email facility, as we do not want to prevent sensible discussions.
