Email: 'Locked horns'

I have 'locked horns' with Sir Adrian Stott in the past over leaving lock gates open, for he has been promoting this for many years in one media or another.

I just accept that this is one of his 'pets', and frankly I no longer take notice, as I have heard it all before.

I'm not getting involved in the why and wherefores of leaving lock gates open, others are obviously doing that, but would suggest people do what they know is correct.
