Olympic Torch at Foxton

THE rather long passage of the Olympic Torch will be including Foxton Locks, as part of the Olympic Relay Route.

This will be on Monday, 2nd July, with Jeff Whyatt, British Waterways' Waterway Manager enthusing:

"We are very pleased to be part of the Olympic Torch Relay Route, and we look forward to welcoming the Olympic Torch to the Grand Union Canal, Leicester Line at Foxton Locks."
