Whilton buy another marina

WHILTON Marina on the Grand Union Canal has acquired Venetian Marina on the Middlewich Branch of the Shropshire Union Canal.

The owner and founder of Venetian Marina, John Dean had retired, and offered the marina for sale, that was taken up by Whilton Marina, to 'expand its business in the North West and support long standing customers within the region'.

Invest

We are told that the company intends to invest around £500,000 on improvements to the moorings, that have been somewhat neglected, and will include new piers, electrics and water to the piers and wi-fi.

Director Robert Steele has confirmed that the present work force at Venetian is being retained.
