Mr Asbo has arthritis

THE most famous swan on the waterways—Mr Asbo—is now in a wild life centre being treated for arthritis.

He received his name after terrorising boaters on the Cam in Cambridge for a number of years,  as often reported in narrowboatworld, and was eventually removed  for a while as he was interfering with organised events on the river.

Badly limping

He was seen to be badly limping, and the centre found he was suffering from arthritis, and may have to have a toe amputated, and not be able to return to his domain.

A RSPCA official told that he was surprised that the swan allowed a member of the public to catch him without any trouble.

So it seems at last that his reign is over, but many it seems will miss his antics.
