AN UNEXPLODED BOMB has closed the Coventry Canal.
This is located adjacent to the Coventry Canal at Electric Wharf near Sandy Lane, Keith Gudgin reports.
The emergency services have established a 100 metres safety cordon around the area.
Navigation closed
At the request of the emergency services, both the navigation and towpath are closed within the affected area.
This will remain in force while the situation is being assessed and managed. Boater are being advised to avoid the area until further notice when the area is deemed safe.
