THE PROMENADE DEVELOPMENT at Mercia Marina has now entered the internal fit-out stages.
With walls, ceilings, electrics, mechanical installations and underfloor heating started to four of the apartments at first floor level.
Stonework, roofing and glazing are all near completion, with the marina's distinct timber cladding now on site and starting to be installed. Over the coming month, the final external cladding finishes will develop, and internal fit out will continue across the first floor, ready to progress onto the second floor.
Electrical supply
The electrical supply has seen its second pull of cables to just before the marina gates and will be progressing the final pull to the development site in the next few weeks, ready for the new substation to feed the building. The grounds team are now working their way around these areas preparing and seeding, including a wildflower mix to provide more colour along the marina road and boost biodiversity.
There as been an active few weeks in commercial interest for the new shop units also, with some very exciting prospective businesses approaching us that are sure to be popular with boaters, lodge owners and visitors alike. Image by Mercia Marina.
