THERE IS TO BE A Floating Market this Easter at Foxton Locks on the Leicester Section of the Grand Union Canal.
This will be together with other activities, Janet Friend reports.
The market will be joined by the Foxton Locks Inn and the Old Boathouse that are also presenting various activities over and beyond the holiday period.
There is to be a chance to discover the hidden world of lichens and what they reveal about the environment, Pond Dipping Adventures, Family Craft Sessions and Let’s Fish sessions.
On the decking there will be live acoustic music, free kids' face painting and free children's crafts. And the museum will be open for visitors. Image by Canal & River Trust.
And of course the many narrowboats moored with their owners selling a huge variety of things.
