New marina for Stratford

APTLY named the Shakespeare Marina, this new marina in Stratford will be open for business early next year.

It is now taking shape with jetties installed and an entry from the Avon cut to allow the basin to fill, Roger Fox reports.

250 berths

This is a 250 berths marina developed by Geomac. They are hoping to construct the facilities building after Christmas with the marina being open in April.

As is normal, the facilities will include a shower block with laundry and there will be fuel and pump-out with electricity and water supplied to the jetties.
