White Mills cancels its July Open Day

SINCE its beginning the Open Days at White Mills Marina have been great attractions, but alas the one for July is cancelled.

The Nene marina at Earls Barton has cancelled its Sunday 5th July open day, even though more coronavirus restrictions are expected to be lifted during the month, it is uncertain at this time what the guidance will be for hosting events such as open days.

Operations Manager Gary Butcher commented:

“White Mills has been operating with restrictions in place, but it has meant that potential customers have sadly not been able to visit during the coronavirus lock down. Once these restrictions have been eased further, then we will be advising visitors who are keen to look around to call and make an appointment.

"It makes better sense to have one to one tours with one of the team, as not only does it ensure the safety and wellbeing of our existing boaters but also that of visitors, which is key.”

Depending on the future outcome of coronavirus, White Mills is planning an alternative Open Day in the Autumn, details of which will follow nearer the time.
