Email: Start of our problems

Sitting with Nelly is only the start of our problems.  You have sat and learned from Nelly and you are deemed well enough trained so sent out on your own.

You are good at your allotted job and after a period promoted and given more responsibility.

You are good at this job and so after another period promoted again and given more responsibility.

This continues and you rise through the ranks.

Until you are promoted and find yourself in a position to which you are unsuited and possibly incompetent.

You cannot be demoted.

You cannot be sacked.

You are not going to sack yourself.

At best you are moved sideways to somewhere you can do no harm but are doing no good either.

It is called promoted to a level of incompetence.

Now I wonder what organisation that sounds like?
