Email: Using limited moorings

I was most pleased to read Victor Swift's exposure of the way the hire firm at Gunthorpe Bridge was using the limited moorings for its own use.

All of us who use that part of the Trent know that moorings are few and far between, it being a fast flowing river, and it is most annoying to find hire firm boats moored at what should be 48 hours moorings.

Another thing. If as you say the boat New Horizons is a hire boat, and all evidence points to that it is, why is it showing a private boat river licence?

I tend to believe what Victor Swift suggested, that there is something afoot that needs investigating.
