Repairs getting finished

THE various repairs around the system are getting finished.

With another four jobs cleared and their navigations reopened, Keith Gudgin reports.

The four

Lock 15 on the Oxford Canal has had its broken heel post fitted.

Aylesbury Arm off the Grand Union Canal has had its Lock 15 quadrant that had collapsed, repaired.

Locomotive Lift Bridge on the Huddersfield Broad Canal has had its electrics sorted.

And the Royal Oak Swing Bridge on the Macclesfield has had its hydraulics repaired.

So all four are reopened for navigation.
