Boat hire in Scotland

MANY boaters, obviously unable to take their boats to the Scottish canals owing to the cost, ask about hiring, particularly using the Falkirk Wheel.

It is Capercaillie Cruisers Ltd who head the boat hire business in that part of the world, even holding the Best Tourism Business award as well as the ABC Best Marina Award of 2012.

Helix Park and the Kelpies

Boaters will also have the added attraction of being able to cruise to the newly-opened Helix Park and the Kelpies next year.

In addition to operating its own narrowboats offering holidays on the Forth & Clyde and Union canals, which link Edinburgh and Glasgow via the Falkirk Wheel, it also handles the hire fleets of ABC Leisure and Black Prince Holidays, as well as Marine Cruises.
