Lol! yes, our hire boat nearly capsized after colliding with another of those a couple of months later, a few miles round the corner on the Tame Valley Canal.

Transport unwanted furniture

Perhaps Birmingham City Council are missing a trick: have they considered using their canals to transport unwanted furniture for recycling? As locals seem happy to bring it to the towpath...
