Email: Praise for the lockies

After spending several weeks on the Thames and in the London area generally I feel I really must write and congratulate the lock keepers, including the volunteers.

They have all, without exception, been helpful, friendly and remained cheerful even when faced with a lock crowded with novices.

Well done all of you, some of the situations we saw would have tried the patience of a saint!
