Marks & Sparks litter pick

STAFF from various branches of Marks & Spencer had a very hard day's litter picking on the Wey around Guildford over the weekend.

The people involved were volunteers from stores around the local area including Guildford, Brooklands, Dorking, Redhill, Reigate and Fleet, Alan Tilbury tells us.

19 sacks filled

Altogether 19 sacks were filled, six of them with material that could be recycled. There were also car tyres, a television, and of course the now expected shopping trolley.

This is part of a Beach and Waterways Clean-up, that the company is getting involved in throughout the country.
