THOUGH Martin Brooks was somewhat  doubtful of Peter Ponting's claim of what his boat's system will accommodate without a generator (Are generators necessary?) he writes:

Yes we run our washing machine, microwave, Tassimo coffee maker, hairdryer and everything else, without a generator.
