Body in Gloucester canal

A BODY was discovered in the Gloucester & Sharpness Canal in Gloucester yesterday, Thursday, and is being treated as 'unexplained'.

Enquiries are being carried out by the police into the drowning, and they are perusing CCTV of the area where the body was discovered, and interviewing local people, Alan Tilbury reveals.

Jacket

A black leather jacket had been left on the bridge near where the body was discovered.

It has been revealed that the man was of 'no fixed abode', but had a partner, who has been informed of his death.
