Boat crashes into Thames pier

A THAMES passenger boat crashed into the Tower Millennium Pier yesterday, (Wednesday) injuring four people.
The boat's steerer misjudged the distance completely and crashed the catamaran into the pier, though most of the passengers were unhurt.
No other vessel involved
It was the Moon Clipper that hit the pier, on the North bank of the Thames between London Bridge and Tower Bridge, with no other vessel involved.
An investigation has been launched by the Metropolitan Police Marine Policing Unit and the Marine Accident Investigation Branch.
