Concert for narrowboat project

A CONCERT is being held to raise money to help refurbish the South West Herts Narrowboat Project narrowboat Dick's Folly.

This will be in the form of an Acoustic Concert at Abbots Langley Community Centre, on Sunday 6th March.  Swedish nyckelharpa, Scottish smallpipes and accordion will be played by duo Vicki Swan and Jonny Dyer at the concert.

The event is supported by the South West Herts Narrowboat Project, an organisation which offers day and evening trips on the Grand Union Canal to groups and charities including Mencap.

The concert will run from 3pm to 5pm, and tickets costing £8 can be obtained from organisers Tim and Lesley Brooks on 01923 264 536.
