A MAN IN SHORTLY GOING TO cruise down the Weaver on a giant cow!
Giant inflatable
Jerry Marshall is to travel the 20 miles of the river on a giant inflatable, Janet Friend reports.
This will take place between 22nd and 24th of August. (Picture Jerry Marshall.)
This is a fund raising effort by Jerry and named the Weaver Cow, with Jerry being the founder of the charity Transformational Enterprise Network, that supports projects in an East African nation which helps people to get income from various methods and so reduce dependence on aid.
Jerry hopes to complete the journey travelling from near Winsford to, it is stated, Marsh Lock in Runcorn.
Weather conditions
Weather conditions will define from where he starts, but he is hoping to set off from Winsford Marina at 9am on Saturday, 22nd August.
It will indeed be a spectacle for people along the river, seeing a floating cow travelling down.
