With Canal & River Trust telling this new one on Lock 16 has suffered paddle mechanism failure.
Stem detached
Its team have attended the site and found that the stem has detached from the paddle.
A repair plan is being developed.
There is no intimation that the Lock 16 failure has yet been repaired.
