Grand Union Canal
Brentford Lock 100, on the Grand Union Canal is out of action.
This caused by a technical fault with the power pack that works the lock.
Another Grand Union Canal stoppages is at Lock 53 at Berkhamsted, our being informed this was owing to tampering with water levels, meaning the lock had to be closed, but no further information.
The Stort Navigation is closed between Latton Lock 9 and Harlow Footbridge.
This is owing to a stranded vessel over the nearby weir and the closure will last until the boat is removed.
Quickly resolved
In addition to the Rochdale Canal paddle problem on the Todmorden lock being resolved, the electrical fault has also been resolved at New Lane Swing Bridge on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal, with both navigations quickly re-opened.
