Praise for John Coxon

WHAT a a good article from John Coxon on 2nd November, writes Ann Seymour.

He makes all the points I have been making to various boaters and folk I still meet along my local part of the Grand Union Canal.

Cruised in the 1950s

I now unfortunately am no longer a boat owner having first walked and cruised canals in the 1950s and then spent nearly 20 years living aboard and cruising most of the system.

Much else has changed especially since C A R T became responsible. In fact my late partner and I felt we gave up our boating life before the lack of maintenance etc before things became as bad as they appear now.
