It is believed to be the man in his 60s who fell into the water, Keith Gudgin reports.

It was on the 11th of this month that a man was reported missing after a rowing boat carrying six people capsized in the river near Sunbury Lock when the river was in flood.

Five people were safely rescued from the water but a man was unaccounted for.

A specialist search team recovered a body near Sunbury Weir yesterday, Sunday. Formal identification is yet to take place, but the missing man's family have been informed.
