Is it the No.1 read for waterways users?

I REALLY believe you should allow me to mention about something that has bothered me for a long time. writes T. Lang.

And that is a web site that grandly announces itself as 'The UK's Number ONE read for all waterways users'  Towpath Talk.

Example

Mostly seen is what Canal & River Trust and such send in, for example the current site gives us volunteers clearing vegetation, volunteer starting young, Wendover to Halton towpath, etc.

So this is the No1 read? What? With often nothing new to read for over a week!

But worst of all, not a mention about the most serious happening to the waterways since the year 2000. The floods! Not a word. And nothing at all about the serious damage caused or the effect on boating.

I don't think so

The No 1 read?  I don't think so!

[This once only, as others have  also written in the same vein. But afraid have omitted your reference to the comparison with narrowboatworld—Editor.]
