Two die in Louth Canal

TWO  people, a man and a 16 years old boy, died after their car left the road and was submerged in the Louth Canal near Laceby.

This happened on Saturday as they were travelling in a blue Mercedes 300 along Tetney Lock Road by the canal and entered the water, Roger Fox reports.

Pronounced dead at scene

The emergency services were contacted but the teenager and man were both pronounced dead at the scene.

The police are asking if anyone saw the accident or has dash cam footage to contact them. It is not believed any other vehicles were involved.
