It's another 'method of repair' job

THE failure of Crabtree Swing Bridge (32) will need a 'method of repair' discovering before any work can commence.

So this Leeds & Liverpool Canal swing bridge is to remain inoperable, Keith Gudgin reports.

In addition to discovering the 'method of repair' the contractors will perhaps have to source any necessary parts.

In the mean time the navigation will of course remain closed.

This time the notice has stated the proper name of the swing bridge, Crabtree and not Crabwell.
