It's Crabtree Swing Bridge...

THE latest stoppage notice from Canal & River Trust tells that Crabwell Swing Bridge (32) is out of action.

This on the  Leeds & Liverpool Canal, Keith Gudgin reports.

Power issue

Alas the trust's report is not quite correct as number 32 swing bridge is Crabtree. However it has a 'power issue' that is stopping it working.

Should there be any misunderstanding which bridge it is, it is the one at Burscough

We are to be told today (Thursday) of the progress.
